Semel Dagen
This week was “Semel Dagen”. This year is was on Tuesday 11th March. It is a
Swedish tradition and almost everyone eats “semlor”.That is a cake with bread, whipped
cream, almond paste and powdered sugar.
You can eat “semlor” in different ways for example plane with nothing on it or
you can eat it with warm milk but both are really good. They are really messy. You
celebrate Semel Dagen 40 days before Easter on a Tuesday.

Why
it is Good to Read
This week we did a collage that is when you have an old
newspaper or a comic book and you cut out what you like and glue it on a paper.
So what we did was we cut out words or letters to make words and pasted them on
the paper. We had to answer the question why is it good to read.
This Monday the sewing group sewed our sewing bags. Sewing bags are for putting our finished and un-finished work inside. This week more people finished their sewing bags while some other people did not finish. Hopefully in the following few weeks everybody will be finished.
