NTA Project
This week in NTA we talked about a standard vehicle. We got to build one to. The standard vehicle was complicated but fun to build in the end. A standard vehicle is a vehicle most people use like car or a train.

                                                        MULTIPLICATION BINGO
This week in class if you finished your maths test you go to play multiplication bingo. You have a sheet of paper with four playboards and two of each number from five to ten. You picked two numbers from the pile of fives to tens and if you piced for example five and six you get 5 times 6
And the summ is your number, so five times six is thirty. Here is a photo of a playing board.

Sewing bag

In sewing we have to make sewing bags. First you take a fabric and sew along the sides. After that you sew thread on the bag and a few centimeters in between. Then you take two buttons and sew them on the bag and then you can put them on the button and off. And then you also sew on your initials and then your finished.

Gym      Alec & Julian
On Monday at gym we were training on standing on our hands and doing somersault backwards and forwards. If you did both you would get a checkmark on a piece of paper beside your name, which meant that you were abel to do it.

D Math step game
In the math step game you have card 1000. You roll 3 dice and then you put together the numbers. So if you get 3,6,1 then you can get 361,316,613,631,136 and 163. Then you put it on the card. The winner is the person who fills in every single box.

Math test
Tuesday the 25th of March class 4B did a math test. The math test that we did was actually "diagnos" 4 in "Matte Borgen" but Hillary printed it out on paper for the class. We got a math paper and another paper to show our work on, and to remember who they belonged to we had to write our names on them.

Week 12

   Rat Trap

The Rat trap is a chess trap that Ingvar tought us this week on tuesday. We can not show you becouse you maybe are with in the chess finals at the same time as os. But we can show you later after the chess tournament. The Rat trap is very complex and new.

Today on Friday the 21st we played math games. One of the games were called The Remainder Game. The rules were to roll the die and each square had a number so for example, you land on a 33 and you roll a 5 so how many fives can you fit in 33 the answer is 6 but there is 3 as a remainder and that's how to move so if you have 4 remainder you move 4 steps but when you get to the finish you WIN!!!

In sewing on the the Monday the 17th of March some more people finished with there bags. There are only 1 or 2 people that are still working on their bags. If they are finished with your bag you can start crocheing projects. If you croche you can sew many things.                                                                          BADMINTON

This week in gym we played badminton matches. We took down the balance beams to use as nets.
There were 4 beams and we were 4 people playing at every beam, there were also some people playing in the middle of the gym and practising bouncing the ball with the racket. Here is a picture of a racket and a ball.

Today on Friday the 21st we played math games. One of the games were called The Remainder Game. The rules were to roll the die and each square had a number so for example, you land on a 33 and you roll a 5 so how many fives can you fit in 33 the answer is 6 but there is 3 as a remainder and that's how to move so if you have 4 remainder you move 4 steps but when you get finish you WIN!!!

Week 11

National Pie Day

National pie day is a day where you celebrate pie in America. You are also encouraged to bake new recipes. You could also celebrate it by gifting the pies to your neighbors. There are many sorts of pies, blue berry, apple, raspberry and even cherries. National pie is on the 23rd January. We missed it this year but maybe next year.

Sewing
This week in sewing we made crochet. If you are doing crochet you need lots of patients, you can make clothes and toys in different colours and shapes. We started of with just making a test in crochet and then wen you get the hang of it then you start making the real crochet and you get to choose what you are going to do.

Art
This week we did whole portraits instead of half that we did last week. If you weren't finished with your half ones you kept on working on them. You had to use the same technic to draw as when you did half portraits. Everybody didn't start on the whole portraits since everyone wasn't finished with the half portraits. First you folded your paper in to eight squares then you drew a face shape on it. Added eyes, nose and a mouth on it. Then you added the details so it looks like yourself.

 Läx Förhör

On Thursday we had a "läx förhör" about mountains. How a läx förhör works is that we get a paper about the subject to take home, then a week later we get a question paper from Katarina. The more right answers you have the better.

Basketball in Gym
In gym on Monday we played basketball we did not play a match. On Friday we will play a match. We dribbled around the gym hall and when we met someone else you should do a dribble to the left. Then we played a game called Stress. There are four teams. Each team needs to make three hoops. If they make three hoops you need to scream "Stress" and you switch the goal your shooting on with the team to the right of you. So it goes on like a circle. So the gym is rectangle and there are 2 goals on each side (The longer sides).

CHESS TOURNAMENT
The chess tournament is an annual tournament in Globen and there are only 4th graders from different schools. There were approximately 3000 kids there. Everyone played four games each except for Alec. He played three games because his opponent was sick. In Globen there were 64 long tables and about 1500 chess boards. You played four different opponents and you could not play a game against anyone in our team (4B). You figured out who you played because there was a card with your name on it and then they gave a list to Hillary with numbers on it. Each chess board had a number so you could find your card. If your name was on it you sit their and wait for your opponent. All classes were in a group (A,B,C,D,E) and we were in group D.
