Week 39

This week we had gym we practiced high jump for the midlle grade olympics. 

In sewing students made bags.

In woodwork students made briges that had to hold 10kg. 

           

    This week the fotografer came to the school to take some school photos. 

We had middle School olympics.

Gabriela and Isak showed us a trick with two books. They couldn't pull the two books apart.

Week 38

This week we met two old men called Bosse and Lasse. They had been students at Johannes school year 1948. Lasse told our class about when he went to Johannes school. He Said the swimmingpool in the basement usesed to be full of water and once a week they got to go swimming for half an hour.

On Monday we had gym on gym we had high jumping, Emilia and Maximus made it over one meter and twenty centimeters!

On Thursday we went to a theater at Skärholmen Stadsteater. Not everybody had packed lunch, some forgot rain jackets and it was raining loads. When we finally got there we waited for about twenty minutes until they came and let us up the stairs. They said the actors were a tiny bit nervous because we were one of the first audiences they had and their play was not 100% complete. The play was called "Läroplanen" and it was about the school plan.

In music this week we sung all the songs we hade sung befor and watched some youtube vidioes like "Scream and Shout" by Will.I.Am and Britteny Spears. We also watched a lyric vidio for "You Make Me" by Avicii. Every week on Wednesday there is choir between 11:45-12:15.

The new Student Councils representatives are Nathan and Gabriela. Wilma and Julian are new representives for Buddy Class.

Most of are presentations are hanging here on the wall.

In crafts we started making wooden spoons. In sewing some started making bags for are things.

Week 37

This week we have finished friendship braslets in the sewing class, it is very easy to do first you have 5 threads you make knots first on the first thread and then the second...

In woodwork we have done tree spoons, first you take a chunk of tree, after you draw a spoon on the tree chunk and you star digging out the part of the spoon were you eat and after you cut it out and you can put it in oil and its done.

This week we started working on our commercials. We have started filming them, adding music, and also adding sound affects. Not everyone is using iMovie. One group is using an app called Animator. This is an app that you can animate a film and then send the film to iMovie where you can add in the music etc. The people that are using iMovie have been recording their voices, filming, and making props.

It is IDP talks on Monday there are 6 people having them. They are Maximus, Hugo, Alex, Felix, Baltasar and Wilma. Freja and Julian have theirs on Tuesday, Liam on Wednesday,and

 Molly, Ella and Jesper on Thursday. 

Week 36 2013

Hello there!!!😃😈😋

Now in the lunchroom we have assigned seats. Sometimes it would be fun to sit with who ever you want. 

 

 We got to chose our student choice groups that we wanted and then the teachers decided the groups. We had the choices of  exciting animals, board games, Greek gods, art and drama/stories.

Then we got our new student choice groups.

Julian started making his own board game.

We finished up the rest of the insects projects.

In woodwork we are carving wood and in sewing we are making friendship bracelets.

Baltasar and Alex made these.

This week it was Hagadagen and now we are running 2 km instead of 1 km. The first 4 that came in goal were in our class. And the 2 fastest girls and boys won a trophie. The classes that won the golden shoes were 3b and 6b. The golden shoe is a shoe that is gold and the shoes has traveled all the way from New York to Stockholm Sweden. We walked there with our buddy class 1B.

On the very same day Barak Oboma came to Sweden and landed at Arlanda. He came in Air Force One. There has never been a president that has visited Sweden until now.

In music, we listened to two new songs, Roar by Katy Perry and applause by Lady Gaga.
